7.4.24 UPDATE

Fresh seeds are ready!

I recently harvested a number of exciting crosses from a very old-school skunk male. I now have (untested) Skunk x Gush Tank (Gush Mints x Cap Junky), and Skunk x Banana Hammock 7. Banana Hammock 7 is an absolutely unique pheno of Ethos’s Banana Hammock (Grape God x Mandarin Sunset). I grew out two packs of this cross three years ago and this pheno is unlike any other. It REEKS of vomit/bile mixed with rotten cherry. I currently have 26 seedlings of this cross which I’ll be testing. I will post both of these crosses for sale shorly at the price of $45 to reflect their untested nature. Updates on this rest run to follow. These are regular (non-feminized) seeds.

Upcoming crosses:

There will be a limited drop of Golden Road Seed Co.’s Lime Bubble (Black Lime Reserve “Jodrey” cut x ’04 Bog Sour Bubble BxC-2 F-2) x my Calimocho 7 (Rotten Rozay x Cherry Paloma) coming in September. These are regular seeds. Don’t sleep on this one.

Coming at the end of September: Calimocho F2, Calimocho x Chernobyl Slymer cut S1 (extrmely limey pheno), Calimocho x Astronaut Status 24 (Zero Gravity X Maitai #4) x Hi Chew) Clearwater breeders cut, and Calimocho x Banana Hammock 7. These will be feminized Seeds.

Also coming end of September/early October: Blueberry IX (Riot Seeds) x Calimocho 7, Chernobyl, Rotten Rozay, Ice Cream Cake, Juicy Fruit, and one other very limited, unannounced receiver. These will be regular seeds.

All untested seeds will be priced at $45 for 12+ seeds(plus a full pack of freebies) until I test them. Prices will vary after testing.

4.14.24 UPDATE

I’m making a decidedly sharp change in the direction of my breeding. To this point I’ve cut my teeth on (mainly) crosses of modern, hype cuts. I’ve worked a few of these beyond the simple F1 pollen-chucking and I’m still proud of much of what I’ve been able to find. I’ve learned a lot, and I’m going to continue working several of these lines which have caught my attention.

That said, I’m moving away from anything that’s mainly Cookies, Sherb, Gelato etc. These lines have secured hegemony the legal market, the Instagram hype train, and a large part of modern cannabis culture and I feel they don’t have that much more to offer on their own. They’re popular for a reason and I’m not going to shun them entirely (they have some great bones to offer), but more remixes of these now very inbred gene pools aren’t going to be my focus going forward.

Currently I’m working hard to research and collect unique modern genetics without these cookies relatives, and the purest old-school and landrace genetics I can find in an effort to make plants which I feel will help to keep the culture and gene pool exciting.

What to expect in the next year:

Work including a rare 1980 Skunk cut

Lime-centered projects integrating Chernobyl, Black Lime Reserve, an IBL Lime, Sour Bubble, and more

Work including 1990’s Soma Lavender (an old favorite of mine)

Blueberry centered lines using Riot Seed’s Blueberry IX

Stabilization of several of my current lines with out corsses to several of the projects listed above

Stay tuned for many more updates and details!
