Hello! I (Ithacan) am a cultivator, breeder, and photographer dedicated to pursuing the finest cannabis genetics possible. Science and art are my passions and I very much hope that these passions show through in the quality of the cultivars I produce.
I am committed to open and honest communication with my customers, full transparency of my cultivar’s lineages, and swift, safe shipping. Feedback is highly valued and nothing makes me happier than receiving photos, success stories, and even critique or suggestions. Please feel free to contact me!
All seeds are made in-house from stress-tested parents which are selected for superlative terpenes, structures, vigor, and yields. I both (1) source elite cuts from around the country to incorporate into my projects, and (2) pheno-hunt from the best and most unique seeds available.
From these exceptional starting genetics I offer:
F1 seeds
Fantastic for finding something unique and new, slightly higher chance of sexual instability/hermaphrodism (though unless listed as “UNTESTED”, these plants have been grown out by myself personally). F1 are the first filial generation. This is when two unrelated, unique cultivars are crossed. The homozygosity of the F1 generation is entierly dependent on the homozygosity of the parents. If the parents themselves are simply F1s from other, equally heterozygous parents, then the F1 generation of their offspring will likely be very heterozygous (many variations between each seed). If the parents were more stabilized, inbred and or back-crossed for several generations, then the F1 generation of their progeny will be more homozygous and stable.
S1 seeds
The most jaw-dropping F1 phenos crossed to themselves. If for example Suppai Plum #7 was the very best plant of the entire hunt, then Suppai Plum #7 pollinates itself after reversal and the resultant seeds are generally more similar to that particular pheno.
F2 seeds
Second filial generation. For example, if I grew-out 18 Gush Tank seeds (which I wouldn’t do, as it is over the legal limit in my state), I would select the best two, or the two with the trait I wanted to breed for, and I’d cross those two F1 phenos with each other. Interestingly, the phenotypical variation present in the F2 generation is often HIGHER than that in the F1 generation.
F3 (and beyond)
Third (or further) filial generation. F3 are the result of F2 seeds crossed with each other. These will have a higher homozygosity than either F1, or F2 seeds. Plants at F3 and beyond will more closely resemble each other.
Disclaimer:
All seeds are sold strictly as novelty souvenirs and should be treated as such. I do not actively promote the cultivation of cannabis in the United States where it remains federally illegal.
